A lovely antique ash bedside cabinet. We date this cabinet to the late 19th century.

The cabinet sits on a plain plinth base with castors and has a lovely fixed marble top of cream and grey with canted corners.

The front of the cabinet has a single drawer over a cupboard. The cupboard door and drawers are fitted with white porcelain knob handles. The cupboard has a single removable shelf and a catch to keep the door securely closed.

The cabinet has an overall height of 33" (84cm), a width of 13.5" (33cm) and a depth of 13" (32cm).

This attractive cabinet remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. The marble has some marks and wear from past use. There are some old wormholes around the base that have been treated twice to make sure. There are some minor age splits and the interior has some wear.

This remains a very stylish & elegant cabinet. It could serve well as either a bedside cabinet or as a side cabinet. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
