Victorian Mahogany Wind Out Extending Dining Table
Antique large late Victorian or early 20C mahogany wind out dining table which is over 10' feet long with the three extension leaves installed.
A lovely table dating from 1900-1920.
This is a quality (better than most) table, that is full of age, charm and character.
Rare and attractive, with a full skirt even when fully extended.
Magnificent carved cabriole legs, terminating in ball and claw feet with period brass and ceramic castors (some wear as one would expect).
A beautiful large table that is solid, strong and has no loose joints.
The mechanism (twin winder, one at each end) works as it should, together with a period handle.
Central support leg, adding to the strength.
No woodworm.
Would look amazing in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions 122.5cmW x 310cmL (including two x 47.5cm and one x 49cm leaves) x 76cmH (60cmH knee hole).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. As you might expect there are some faint marks and light scratches on the top, but nothing bad or very noticeable....all adding to the charm of the table and what most would want to see.
