Lovely quality mahogany open front bookcase dating from circa 1860. It has fully adjustable solid shelves, around an inch thick, and stands on a plinth base. It has rounded corners to the top and the base and bears two labels for "James Phillips, Union St. Bristol".

The quality of this bookcase cannot be overstressed. It has a solid panelled pine back and the colour of the mahogany is very attractive.
