A large antique walnut footstool in the manner of Gillows. This superb footstool stands on twisted turned legs which terminate with the original Cope & Collinson porcelain and brass casters. These patent casters were used by Gillows and high quality nineteen century antique furniture makers.
The stool has been professionally reupholstered with a fabulous antique kilim in warm tones.

This elegant and generously sized 19th century footstool is in excellent condition and ready to use in the sitting room as a coffee table, extra seating or at the end of a bed.
