Antique quality Victorian inlaid figured walnut davenport writing table desk. C1880
This is a lovely quality davenport, that is full of age, charm and character.
Period brass and ceramic castors (some wear as you would expect).
4 active drawers (mahogany lined and slide freely) on the RHS. 4 dummy drawers on the LHS.
No loose joints or woodworm.
Lovely patina and colour, would look amazing in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions: 53cmW x 54cmD x 82cmH. 68 to 74cm high writing slope.
In good antique condition with historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is to be expected with functional antique furniture. No keys and locks are consequently untested. Later writing surface.
