A fantastic quality burr walnut stretcher table from the mid-Victorian period. Of fine construction in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. The elongated oval top is edged with thumb nail molding and brass beading. It is decorated with lovely inlaid floral detailing of the highest quality and is banded in amboyna with an ebony border. The base is in solid walnut with carved detailing. The legs terminate in their original castors and are united by an under-stretcher ensuring the table is solid and free from wobbles. The whole table has a wonderful colour and patina and is offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home.
