Victorian Inlaid Burr Walnut Oval Loo Table

Antique Victorian 19C inlaid oval burr walnut tilt top loo breakfast table.
A breathtaking top, with matched veneers and inlays on a very impressive carved base. Unusual shaped and carved border to the top.
This is a lovely table, that is full of age, charm and character.
Very rare and attractive.
The table is heavy, solid and has no loose joints, standing on a large and impressive base with dissimilar period brass and ceramic castors.
Lovely patina, figuring and colour, would look amazing in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions 134cmL x 96cmW x 70cmH (158cmH when tilted up).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with antique furniture. There are veneer imperfections, such as chips, wear, light bubbling etc., but it is common with burr walnut veneered antique tables and all is now stable, adding to the charm and authenticity of the piece. There are some historic woodworm holes, believed extinct, but treated for good measure. Some wear in the castors, as is usual and to be expected. Later thumb screws.
Stock No. 3773b.
