Antique quality Victorian 19C Gothic mahogany glazed bookcase or display cabinet.
Black slate top with faux marble decoration and amazing lion's paw feet
This is a lovely quality piece, that is full of age charm and character.
Beautiful patina and colour...a rare find, with a quality feel.
No significant woodworm.
Would look amazing in the right location!
Note that this item splits into 3 parts for transport (slate top, cornice and main section).
Overall maximum dimensions 118cmW x 46cmD x 126cmH.
Adjustable shelves 101.5cmW x 30cmD.
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. No key and the lock is untested. There are some noticeable scratches and chips on the glass of the RH door, which we will replace for £30 before dispatch if required (allow and extra week for delivery). Old yellow baize lining with wear fading and marks.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
