This splendid Boulle antique clock, made by Potonie Paris, is signed on both the dial and the movement. It features an eight-day movement that chimes on the hour and half-hour. As a fine example of Victorian artistry, it showcases detailed Boulle inlays of brass, mother of pearl, and tortoiseshell on ebonized wood. The pendulum and dial are encircled by elaborate gilt brass, enhancing its grandeur. This antique clock would serve as an ideal, timely Christmas present for a special lady.
