Lovely mahogany wind out extending dining table. We date this table to the late 19th century.

The table sits on four sturdy well turned legs on brass castors.

The main table is circular in shape with a plain deep apron. The table is fitted with a winding mechanism (winder supplied) which parts the main leaves and allows the extension leaf to be inserted.

When fully closed the table has a height of 28.5" (72cm) and a diameter of 54" (137cm). The table's extended length is 72” (182cm).

This lovely dining table remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are some marks, indented lines and minor scratches to the table top and leaf, with some indentations to some edges. The table has mellowed slightly with its position in the sun over the years.

This remains a very stylish and elegant dining table which will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
