Having a Chippendale shaped cresting rail

Shaped and pierced splats carved with C-scrolls and leaves and having serpentine arms terminating in scroll hand rests

With stuffed-over upholstery, cabriole forelegs carved to the knees with acanthus

And with ball and claw forefeet

Circa 1900
