A lovely late Victorian open bookcase with some decorative and well executed floral carving. The bookcase has enjoyed a sensible light waxing in our workshop and survives in lovely worn condition. We have old usage marks to the leading edges, but nothing significant, considering the age of the item.

The oak bookcase stands on its original plinth and bracket shaped feet and retains its original backboards. The 4 oak edged shelves are height adjustable and sit level. The item is solid in joint and ready to use.

A super piece with the ability to fit into period and more contemporary spaces effectively.

Shipping information

When purchasing from us we include delivery within mainland UK, excluding Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isles, in the purchase price and liaise with you to ensure delivery is as swift and as smooth as possible. We try our best to deliver within 14 working days. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isles and for World-wide shipping.

Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions

If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.

On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
