Victorian C1890 walnut extending dining table
Antique large 2 leaf late Victorian walnut extending (pull out) dining table approximately 7'9" x 4'6" when extended. Stamped C. Hindley and Sons, 134 Oxford Street, London.
A lovely table dating from C1890. Large 4'6" width.
This is a quality (better than most) table, that is full of age, charm and character.
Rare and attractive, the top is in good order, with nothing unsightly.
Magnificent carved legs, terminating in substantial period brass cup castors.
A beautiful large table that is solid, strong and has no loose joints.
The mechanism works as it should.
No woodworm.
Would look amazing in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions: 136.5cmW x 236cmL (including 61cm and 38cm leaves) x 73cmH (58.5cmH knee hole). Forms a 4'6" circular table without the leaves.
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Later table forks.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide strong able bodied persons for our driver to assist with carrying.
