This table is all about quality and opulence. The hall or consul table is Victorian, dating to around 1860. It was designed to wow. The table has a well figured burr walnut top. Look at the quality of the carved border. Look at the inset frieze, the carving to the top of the barley twist columns. The middle stretcher is in rosewood. This is a fabulous table.

The table is in good condition. The walnut is rich and glows. There is a small crack in top veneer - see photo. Joints good. No worm or repair.

If you want a high end period hall table, then for sheer quality, you would be pushed to find something better. This table could be used in a principal room, perhaps with a lamp on top. It is a beautiful piece.

The burr walnut table is 45 inches wide and 20.5 inches deep and 30.5 inches high.
