An elegant and good quality free standing kidney shaped desk. The cross grain moulded edge with burr walnut cross banding and inset hand dyed green leather writing surface with gold and blind tooling. The frieze with 3 burr walnut and mahogany lined drawers each with turned pulls and brass escutcheons. The base having well turned and carved dual end supports with joining stretcher and standing on cabriole legs with carved "C" scrolls and brass casters. An elegant writing table in very good condition. Sizes- Width...48''...122cm. Depth...22''...56cm. Height...29.25''...74.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. £55. More photos available.
