Circa 1860. Exhibition quality Victorian burr walnut drum or rent table in pristine condition. The circular top with a new gilt-tooled brown leather writing surface surrounded by burr walnut cross banding and a moulded edge. The frieze with four mahogany lined bowfront drawers with original bun handles interspersed by four recesses with carved quarter brackets. Supported on three tapering ring turned supports on a pod over three carved cabriole legs with original brass and brown porcelain castors.
