Victorian Brass And Oak Revolving Magazine Rack
A good quality Victorian brass and light oak revolving magazine rack. With two divisions, nice wirework panels sitting on three swept legs. There are two main sections each with a brass frame with brass lattice work grille. There is a brass arch carrying handle to the centre.
The upper brass work is attached to a golden oak platform which sits on a tri-form brass rotating base terminating in ball feet. Dating to the late 19th century circa 1895 , probably made in Birmingham by Samuel Hall. (our attribution is based on the same model having been sold in the past with factory marks identified as Hall).
This is a decorative and elegant item that is also practical.
Height -82.5 cm overall (32") to top of handle - the floor to top of shelf is 510 cm (21.5 2) the shelf is 37 cm wide, 16.5cm deep. The spread at the base is 40 cm.
All items are offered for sale in excellent condition commensurate with age and ready to go straight into the home. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions or request additional pictures.
