This is a top quality Arts and Crafts open bookcase. The bookcase is late Victorian, dating to around 1900 and is made in solid oak. There is a lot of the Gothic about the arches to the bookcase sides. The bookcase is stepped with chamfered mouldings between the two sections. The top rail has pierced decoration in a classically Arts and Crafts manner. The shelves are high and fixed and the oak is a good polished colour.

Condition is good. No worm or repair. Small crack in arch - minor.

This bookcase will look beautiful in any setting, especially when filled with books.

The bookcase is 49 inches high and 25 inches wide and 8 inches deep. The shelves are 11.75, 11.75 and 12 inches high.
