A small portable artist's paintbox made of unusually fine woods. A light wood, possibly satin birch, is inlaid and edged with contrasting bands of rosewood. The fitted interior retains its 4 porcelain mixing slabs and 2 glass water pots. It is in good order, with only some scratch marks/writing to the top. A beautiful item that would be a pleasure to use!
