Victorian 19C concave upholstered ottoman box
Antique shaped upholstered needlepoint ottoman or blanket box.
This ottoman is full of age, charm and character. So rare with concave sides.
The upholstery is recent, with little wear and only light marks. Internally it has remnants of an old paper lining.
Victorian 19 Century origins, or possibly early 20C (it is hard to tell when it is almost totally covered in fabric).
A very rare find.
No significant woodworm.
Overall maximum dimensions 53cmL x 52cmW x 45cmH.
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. We have not inspected beneath the upholstery. Possibly has later hinges and one foot is chipped (not very noticeable, on the inside).
