lovely pedestal desk in a super warm golden oak, the top with a deep red / burgundy tooled leather writing surface and two pull out slides, the central frieze drawer with a clever mechanism which when closed, locks the other two drawers.
the two pedestal cupboards are most unusual in that they swing out to reveal interiors fitted with drawers, pull out filing trays and compartments, decorative panelled sides and back. this super desk does have some marks and scuffs comensurate with age and use but overall it really is a very handsome piece.
