A Very Large Victorian Carved Oak Mirror Back Sideboard
This is an exceptionally fine quality piece, the quality of the carving is the best both in craftsman ship and artistic design
This superbly Gothic piece is decorated in a country house style, as many of the carvings are of fruits, nuts and flowers and in addition to these we have faces of lions
The dresser base or sideboard has a three drawers and 4 doors enclosing three cupboards, the one on the right has a cellaret, it stands on large bun feet. On the top there is a mirrored back, with shelves, turned uprights and many more carvings
The dresser is in superb condition for its age with few flaws to the finish, the mirror is original with bevelled glass and a very little foxing
