An mid 19th.Century octagonal occasional table. Made from quarter sawn figured oak.The inlaid top has 24 samples of coromandel wood with satinwood circle to the centre and cross banded edge. The frieze with alternate drawers (4) and false drawers, each with boxwood line inlay and turned pulls. The octagonal trumpet shaped column terminating in a triform base with carved acanthus leaf decoration to the legs and original brass castors. Sizes- Height...31''...79cm.
