An unusual small Scottish longcase clock, having a painted enamel scene in the arch featuring an early golfer in plaid. The antique clock is in a solid oak case and has a swan neck pediment with a blind fret frieze and glazed side windows. The break arch dial is signed "Farthing of Muthill" and has subsidiary seconds and date dials. The movement is 8 day and strikes the hours on a bell.
