An unusual oval and good quality Victorian oak library table with cross banded and thumb moulded top with inset hand dyed leather writing surface which has gold and blind tooling. The frieze with 4 real and 4 false drawers all having applied mouldings with turned pulls and working brass locks with keys. The base having a well turned column and supported on well carved cabriole legs with scroll feet and castor. In very good condition with a warm golden patina. Can be transported in 2 pieces. Dimensions:- Height…31.25’’/ 79.5cm. Width…57’’/ 145cm. Depth…44.5’’/ 113cm. Delivery to most of U.K. £65.
