The atomizer has been tested with water and it works well.
A delightful vintage Stratton Box Set in superb unused condition with all the original features.
The set comprises of a Stratton " Mini-Convertible " compact & matching atomizer. The compact comes with the original velour pouch, instruction leaflet, inspection docket, silk and foam puff, plastic sifter and spare waxed paper insert for the powder well. Both the compact and the atomizer are decorated with the most delightful dog roses and field roses. A bee has alighted on one of the field roses............so evocative of the English countryside. Each accessory is signed " Stratton ". The compact mirror gives an excellent accurate reflection. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. The atomizer works well.
Even the presentation box is in super condition. The box is signed " Stratton." The box is lined with beautiful grey faux silk & the outer box & interior base are covered with a matching light grey velour.
A delightful item with all the quality you expect from vintage Stratton accessories.
The compact measures 3"and weighs 72.3 grams.
The atomizer measures 3"and weighs 18.9 grams.
