A lovely unused gilt 1950s Stratton powder compact which is presented in the original box. The original puff, pouch, sifter, instruction leaflet and padded paper insert are present. The lid is decorated with a beautiful and complex engine turned design. The compact is in very good condition. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The mirror bezel is signed STRATTON MADE IN ENGLAND. The original mirror sticker is in place. Measures 3 inches diameter. Weighs 95.8 grams.

This compact is suitable for use as a handbag mirror, for all loose face powder and also with pressed foundation pans measuring 59-67mm diameter.
