A wonderful example of a romantic themed Stratton compact. This unused boxed enamel Stratton compact dates to the 1970s. The lid is decorated with beautiful enamel. Borders of deep green enamel and a diamond cut feature frame a lovely plaque embellished with Le Serment d'Amour (The Oath of Love) after Jean Honoré Fragonard. There isn't any loss enamel or design. The original presentation box, black felt pouch, luxury puff and sifter. All catches and hinges work perfectly. The compact is signed Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND. Measures 3 1/4 inches diameter. Weighs 106 grams. The makers lacquered this accessory and so it will not tarnish or need to be cleaned.

This compact is ideal for your collection or for use with all loose foundation and standard sizes of pressed foundation measuring between 59 - 67 mm diameter.
