two Crystoleum a pair
These two crystoleums are in good condition and still have good colour. From around 1900 possibly a fraction earlier these two have a velvet frame which is also in good condition. A crystoleum is the picture applied to the rear of a shaped (convex) glass, popular from late Victorian times to Edwardian. Being fragile many have been destroyed but these two offer a good example of the art of that time and have survived intact.
