A super duo of similar South Yorkshire backstools (1670-1700)

Each raised on a good length of leg adjoined by ball turned stretchers, the distinctive crescent shaped cross-splats decorated with S scrolls, flowerheads, punchwork and inverted 'acorn' pendants

Both chairs have good planks seats with raised borders for improved cushion retention
Good colour and patina
