Circa 1870. An interesting mid Victorian tall, elongated stool. The red leathered plated and deep buttoned top, recently re-upholstered (traditionally), leather held in place by close brass studding. The stool has a shaped frieze on all sides and stands on four stout elegant cabriole legs which are scumbled to simulate rosewood, finishing on a well curled foot.
