Superb Gorge III Style Console Table
An attractive and good quality George III style mahogany console or serving table. The shaped and beautifully figured mahogany top having a raised and shaped up-stand with applied and carved decoration. The well carved frieze conceals a useful drawer which has foliate and shell carving and acts as the pull for the drawer. The table stands on shaped and moulded front legs with scroll toes, block feet and carved lion heads and patrae to the knees. The back legs of square and tapered form with moulding and carved detail. Condition & colour- very good. Dimensions:- Max. Height…34.5’’/ 88cm. Width…51.5’’/ 130cm. Max.Depth…24’’/ 61cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £55
