A very good Gillows pedestal partners desk of the more unusual and desirable 18 drawer configuration. Each side with 9 drawers and constructed from top quality fiddle back mahogany with solid mahogany sides and linings. The graduated drawers with moulded fronts and all retaining their original cast brass handles and locks which are stamped "GILLOWS'' "LANCASTER'' and "WARRANTED HAND MADE LEVER''. The centre drawer also bares an impressed "Gillows" stamp.Standing on off set plinth bases with hidden castors In superb condition with a top quality replaced hand dyed leather writing surface with gold and blind tooling. This rare and unusual Gillows desk should prove to be a very good investment in the coming years. In A1 condition. Sizes- Width..60''..152.5cm. Depth...48''..122cm. Height..30.5''..77.5cm.
