Superb Carved Coquilla Nut Scent Bottle / Box

Finely carved coquilla nut dating from the Early 19th Century which was probably made for the dressing table and would have contained a scent bottle.
The top half is carved with swags and rosettes whereas the bottom half depicts a shield to one side with rosettes occupying the other. The the two halves screw tightly together. The container has a good colour and patina.
Dimensions: 9.3 cm height x 4 cm diameter.
Condition: The uneven surface on the top would indicate that part of the finial has been lost. There is also a small split in the top half extending from the thread. However, the condition, overall, is good and it displays vey well.
Postage & packing within the UK is £4.50. Please contact me for a quote for overseas destinations.
