A superior and bespoke Anglo-Indian campaign toiletry box with the original owners name "Norman Hackney"inlaid to the lid. The padouk wood box with military style protective brass straps and sunken brass carrying handles. The whole intricately inlaid with brass foliage,flowers and vases. The lid lifts to reveal a fitted interior consisting of a removable brass inlaid mirror with 2 storage frets to each side. The removable centre tray allows the side trays to slide together which reveals 2 hidden storage compartments. In superb original condition. Size- Width...17.5''...44.5cm. Depth...11.75''...30cm.
