A superb mid 19th century centre stool in fine quality figured Oak, having wonderful carved legs with original large shallow cup castors, the stool having a beautiful moulded edge to all 4 sides, newly upholstered with deep pleated buttons, the surface has been made to be as flat as possible to enable the stool to be used as coffee table with the addition of a tray. Upholstered in George Smith high quality tweed linen with antique brass stud decoration. A fine well proportioned stool in superb condition throughout.
