An unusual and very decorative 1930's Oriental style side cabinet with Art Deco influence and vibrant emerald green ground. The top with raised lacquered gilt cranes in flight and dark clouds with moon. The cushion moulded frieze with further raised lacquer and gilded decoration. The superb centre door with an active volcano, islands, sailing ship and oriental figures all with gilded highlights. The 2 glazed doors with gilded Art Deco cloud style astragal mouldings and escutcheons. The interior with the original, quality lining, plate glass shelves and mirror plate back. The whole standing on a plinth base with shaped feet. In very good condition, with minimal signs of wear. Sizes - Height..48.75''..124cm. Width..52''..132.5cm. Depth..16''..40.5cm.
