A superb English 17th Century oak serving/side table with a beautiful plank top and cleated ends. This table is raised on barley sugar twist legs and terminates with block feet. The stretchers follow the same design and all joints are pegged in the 17th Century manner. The colour and patina are excellent and highlight the grain and richness of the oak. The condition is very good, standing firmly. There are minor imperfections as can be seen, but these are not detrimental and are to be expected of a piece of antique furniture that has had over 300 years of use! A wonderful historic table that would add style to any interior.
