A rare example of a stylish, hand painted French 19th Century upholstered stool in a serpentine shape. Standing on short carved cabriole legs, retaining original paint with traces of gilt paint in a distressed look, it has old worm holes to the underside which are long gone. It is finished in an absolutely fabulous fabric of the finest quality.

A wonderful interiors piece, max dimensions are 27 inches by 23 inches and 17 inches tall.
