Magnificent 18th Century Mahogany Cutlery Box, c.1790. The serpentined fronted box is beautifully crafted, crossbanded in Tulipwood and inlaid in Boxwood and Ebony, with a lovely Harewood Shell inlaid to the top, and a Silver escutcheon housing the working lock and original key. The box has the original interior and in beautiful stunning condition. 15.75" (inches) in height x 8.75" (inches) front to back and 9” wide, while closed.
