A beautiful unused Stratton refillable loose powder compact. This Stratton 'Petite' compact was made between 1960 - 1965. The lid is delightfully pretty - an engraved pattern which has the appearance of lattice work. The compact was lacquered by the maker and it absolutely gleams! The original pristine embroidered pouch, signed puff and velour edged sifter are present. The mirror gives a good reflection. The original mirror stickers are in place. The interior case is signed 'Stratton' and decorated with the 'Compact-in-Hand' logo. The base is decorated with diagonal stars. Measures 2 5/8" and weighs 69.9 grams.
