Circa 1880. An unusual stained ash circular games table. The top with its chess board marked out in ash and gold, with a wave decoration to the side, the rest of the surface has been ebonized as has the base. The table stands on a turned, ring turned and tapering column, finishing on three simple hipped, downward facing and sabre legs.
