Splendid Oak 2 Drawer Glazed School Cabinet 1930 Cabinet School Oak %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Number 15 from a run which once stood in a private School in Yorkshire. It’s a quality piece compared to some with a rather marvellous stance and comes in the favoured, user friendly set up of top two door glazed cabinet, two decent sized drawers and a two door panelled cupboard below.

As we mentioned, it’s without doubt a handsome looking cabinet with those brass well shaped drawer handles – unpolished but would polish up if you prefer, original glass, deep base, and well-shaped top plinth. It sits in a well-toned and well figured English oak with solid sides rather than veneer panels.

The oak fronted shelves in the glazed section are adjustable with the lower cabinet having a fixed shelf. The wooden knobs are twisting well and the two drawers are running smoothly. We have ensured the piece is ready to place. Please note it does split into two for easier moving but is still very weighty.

This one is surely going to fit into numerous spaces, just marvellous English, early 1930s.

Dimensions - Overall: Height 214cm x Width 105.5cm x Depth 55cm
Dimensions - Specifically the Drawers: Height 11cm x Width 41.5cm x Depth 43.5cm
Dimensions - Specifically the Shelves: Height adjustable x Width 96cm x Depth 37cm
