This is a gorgeous Regency figured mahogany bow front chest of drawers of small elegant proportions dating from circa 1820. It appears to have its original finish and the figuring on the drawer fronts is simply stunning.

The top which is also beautifully figured and with the odd ink stain has a reeded edge. There are two short drawers above two long drawers with a working antique key for the upper long drawer. The brass handles with the fleur-de-lis oval back plates are later but would appear to have some age to them (possibly from an Edwardian updating when the bun handles would have been removed). The handles are of good quality and provide an attractive contrast to the rich colour of the mahogany.
There is a shaped apron and the chest stands on splayed bracket feet.

Dimensions: 33" width x 18 3/4" depth max x 34" height (84 x 48 x 87 cm)

Condition: The chest is in fine antique condition but you should expect some marks given it is 200 years old. Please don't hesitate to ask us for additional photographs or further details about the chest.
