Circa 1910, small oak Jacobean style stool with the retailer’s label for Liberty & Co, London. The rattan seat is contained within an oak frame with moulded edges. The legs are a combination of blocks and turnings with carved roundels on the top and united by turned stretchers on all sides. The legs are held in position by peg joints which are visible on each corner. Stylish, clean small stool by Liberty.
