A small, light oak case 8 day longcase clock, dating to the early 19th Century. It has a swan neck hood with reeded side columns and a break arched door and glass panel sides. The trunk has a long door with a shaped top . The well painted dial has subsidiary seconds and date dials and is signed by the maker James Robertson of Ellon, Aberdeenshire . It has an 8 day movement that sounds the hours on a bell.

Current Condition
The case has been repolished, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. The date mechanism has been disconnected as is often the case. If you would like a video clip of this antique clock striking and ticking please email us
