This is a lovely cottage dresser with 3 drawers in the base plus 3 dummy drawers drawers down the centre. The rack has 4 small genuine drawers with replacement brass knobs. The original knobs would have been wooden. This is a country piece, pine lined, and with lovely wide back boards. There is a crack on top of the base, probably 50 years old, but which only adds to the character.

The dresser, dating from circa 1840, measures 55" (140cm) wide x 20" (50cm) deep x 71" (180cm) high and, of course, it breaks into 2 pieces for transport.
