Small Antique Walnut Pedestal Desk
A small, late Victorian / Edwardian walnut 3 part and freestanding pedestal desk. The top having an inset tooled green leather writing surface above the 9 graduated and mahogany lined drawers all retaining the original brass swan neck handles with decorative brass back plates. The pedestals are supported on plinth bases with hidden brass and porcelain casters. Condition- Good with one or two bumps or bruises associated with age and use. There is a key but it only works 4 of the drawers. Dimensions:- Height…30.5’’/ 77.5cm. Width…35.5’’/ 90cm. Depth…23.75’’/ 60.5cm. Kneehole Height…24.5’’/ 62cm. Kneehole Width...15.5''/ 39.5cm.
