A lovely Victorian sideboard. We date this sideboard to the late 19th century.

The sideboard sits on a plain plinth base and has a small arched gallery to the rear.

This lovely sideboard has a full width drawer over two side hinged panelled doors each with an arched centre panel, there are attractive carvings to the outer side of each door. Internally there are two cupboards and four adjustable shelves that can be fitted into any side. The right hand door is fitted with a lock (key is supplied), the left hand side has top and bottom bolts.

The sideboard has an overall height of 42" (107cm) including the gallery, a table top height of 36.5 (93cm), a width of 48" (122cm) and depth of 23" (59cm).

This sideboard remains in good solid condition with surface markings commensurate with age and usage. The sideboard has some wear including some marks and indentations to some surfaces and edges. There are a few small pieces of veneer missing primarily at the base of the drawer's edge. There are some marks to the top back where a larger gallery would have been at some time in the past.

This remains a stylish and elegant sideboard. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
