A stunning antique late 19th century French Palais Royal pierced and chased brass and porcelain mounted antique jewellery box or casket. The dome shaped hinged lid having a Sevres style porcelain plaque with hand painted flowers within a blue and gilded border. The conforming sides with chased brass carrying handles and the box retains the original key. The interior lined with the original red silk and the whole in very good original condition.
